Fine Feathers at Nina Ricci

At Nina Ricci, Olivier Theyskens imagined wood nymphs coming home from a ball, but “The ball is a rave, a rave in nature,” he said. Apropos, then, were his ethereal head wreaths made of branches and feathers.

cornell:french connection's s/s 2008 ad campaign features much more practical ways to wear it - don't fear the feather :)
cornell:no one is saying that "she" should take the image as a literal translation... feathers are showing up in many collections... maybe one feather smartly worn in a tight style or a singular plume hanging elgantly from a similarily elegant "mess"
